The Municipality of Shuniah has decided to constitute an Ad Hoc Committee to facilitate local input and provide direction and participate in the ongoing tree harvesting concerns.

 The committee will have meetings throughout the summer and they are expected to have their recommendations ready for Council review by August 31, 2006.
Fire Permits are required as of April 1st 2008. You can obtain a Shuniah Burning permit at your local Shuniah stores or at our office, 420 Leslie Ave.

Landfill Stickers will be on sale at the end of February 2008.  SEASONAL STICKER VALID UNTIL OCT 31/08.  THE FULL YEAR STICKER IS VALID UNTIL MAR 31, 2009
