Shuniah Landfill Sites

The MacGregor Ward Landfill Site is located on Highway 11/17, 2 miles west of McKenzie Station Road.

Hours of Operation: Wednesdays from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm AND Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm.

The McTavish Ward Landfill Site is located on Highway 11/17 1000 feet west of Silver Lake Road.

Hours of Operation:

Summer Wednesdays from 12 pm until 8:00 pm; Winter Wednesdays from 10 am until 6:00 pm;

AND Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am until 5 pm.

RECYCLING - New since the spring of 2001 the MacGregor Landfill Site has added a recycling depot for corrugated cardboard.
