Youth Group- At the MacGregor Recreation Centre
January 4, 2007 was the opening night
of the new Shuniah Youth Group. Approximately 50 residents attended
including the media. Our opening was a success thanks to many
volunteers and donations which help make this program a success:
Wendy Landry, Karen Cameron-Powell, Taryl Clavet, Joanne
Hamelin, Council and Staff from Municipality of Shuniah, Power Center,
Compu- Smart, Ron’s Virtual World, Mrs. Carol Klukie, The Volunteer
Community Policing Committee and the O.P.P.
Together we hope that this Youth Program will unite our community making
it a vital and safe place for all of us.
We invite all members of the community to come and visit.
The Program runs
Mon/Wed/ Fri from 6pm to 10 pm.
We are offering Community Hours for the High School Students and
volunteers are always needed.

Permits are required as of April 1st 2008. You can obtain a Shuniah
Burning permit at your local Shuniah stores or at our office, 420 Leslie
Ave.
