In the spirit of Seniors Month in Ontario, Shuniah will be offering a series of presentations and workshops throughout the month of June that focus on healthy aging in place.

To better cater these offerings to the older adult population, we’re looking for some guidance and involvement from Shuniah’s seniors! Being a volunteer for this initiative could look like: providing input and feedback on presentation and workshop topics, providing insight into common accessibility needs and best practices to meet them, advising on best methods of communication among the senior demographic, helping facilitate workshops and aid participants where needed, and helping create a comfortable program space.
